We’re Launching a Good Samaritan Fund — and We Need Your Help!
At Hub City Humane Society, we know that sometimes pet owners face heartbreaking choices because of financial hardship. That’s why we’re starting a The Rocky Road Fund — a special fund dedicated to helping cover shelter surrender fees for families in crisis. Sweet Rocky Road inspired this idea and we hope her story can inspire you to help others in need.
Your donation can make the difference between a pet being abandoned and one being safely and humanely surrendered into our care.
How You Can Help:
- Donate directly to the Good Samaritan Fund
- Sponsor a pet surrender in honor of a loved one
Let’s come together as a community to ensure no animal is left behind simply because their person couldn’t afford the fees. Every dollar helps. Every act of kindness counts.

Donations can also be mailed or dropped off at our shelter.

It also provides guidance to feline diabetes educational information and sites on the Internet, hoping to get the caregivers on the road to “appropriate treatment” for their cats.
The Dog and Cat Cancer Fund Click Here The Dog and Cat Cancer fund is committed to making the ability to pay one less factor to consider for those in need.
